Med Consulting Solutions LLC, doing business as MCS Advisory ("MCS," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This policy describes how we handle information collected through medconsultingsolution.com (the "Site"). By using the Site or submitting a form, you agree to the practices described here.

Who we are

MCS Advisory is a veteran-owned healthcare advisory and consulting firm based in Tampa, Florida. We provide professional advisory services to independent physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, and behavioral health organizations. We advertise and deliver our own services; we are not a medical provider and do not deliver clinical care.

Information we collect

We collect only the information you choose to give us. When you complete a form on the Site, such as a request for a consultation or a free practice benchmark, we may collect your name, practice or organization name, professional role, email address, phone number, and any details you include in your message.

We also collect standard, non-identifying technical information automatically, such as browser type, device type, referring pages, and general usage patterns, through cookies and analytics tools. This helps us understand how the Site is used and improve it.

We do not intentionally collect protected health information (PHI) or patient records through the Site, and we ask that you not submit any patient information through our forms.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, schedule and conduct consultations, deliver the services you request, and communicate with you about our work together. We may use non-identifying technical and analytics data to measure and improve the performance of the Site and our advertising.

Advertising and analytics

We use third-party services, including Google Ads and Google Analytics, to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and understand Site traffic. These services may use cookies and similar technologies to collect usage information. This data is used in aggregate to improve our marketing and is not used to identify you personally by us. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can learn more about Google's practices at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share limited, non-identifying usage information with advertising and analytics providers such as Google, whose cookies help us measure and improve our advertising. Under some privacy laws, including California's, this type of cookie-based activity for advertising may be considered “sharing” even though no money changes hands and we do not share your name or contact details for this purpose. We do not share the personal information you submit through our forms (such as your name, email, or message) with third parties for their own marketing. Aside from advertising and analytics cookies described above, we share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate the Site and our business (for example, email, hosting, and analytics providers), and only to the extent needed to perform those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights. You can limit cookie-based sharing through the controls described in the California section below and through your browser settings.

How we protect information

Information submitted through the Site is transmitted over an encrypted (SSL) connection. We limit access to the information we collect to authorized personnel who need it to do their work, and we retain it only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law.

Your choices

You may request that we update or delete the personal information you have submitted, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing us at the address below. You can also control cookies and tracking through your browser settings.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of any consumer under the age of 16. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us at the address below and we will delete it.

Your California privacy rights

We provide the disclosures in this section to California residents as a matter of good practice and transparency. We describe these rights whether or not we are currently required by law to do so, because we believe our clients and visitors deserve a clear account of how their information is handled.

Categories of information we collect

In the past twelve months, we have collected the following categories of personal information, as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

  • Identifiers, such as your name, email address, phone number, and practice or organization name, which you provide through our forms.
  • Professional or employment information, such as your professional role and the details you choose to include in your message.
  • Internet or network activity, such as browser type, device type, referring pages, and general usage patterns collected automatically through cookies and analytics tools.

We do not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you, and we ask that you not submit protected health information or patient records through the Site.

Sources and purposes

We collect this information directly from you when you complete a form, and automatically from your device when you use the Site. We use it to respond to your inquiry, deliver the services you request, communicate with you, and measure and improve the Site and our advertising, as described earlier in this policy.

How we disclose information

We disclose the categories above to our service providers (for example, email, hosting, and analytics providers) so they can perform services on our behalf. As described in “How we share information,” cookie-based activity with advertising and analytics providers such as Google may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not disclose the personal information you submit through our forms to third parties for their own marketing.

Your rights

Subject to certain exceptions, California residents have the right to:

  • Know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Delete the personal information we have collected from you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, including sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (note: we do not use sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted by law).
  • Non-discrimination, we will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.

How to exercise your rights

You may exercise any of these rights by emailing us at kays@medconsultingsolution.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request.” We will verify your request by confirming details against the information we hold, and we will respond within the timeframes required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to our verification of the agent's authority.

Opting out of sharing and Global Privacy Control

To limit cookie-based sharing for advertising, you can adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies, and you can review Google's controls at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising for that browser.

Your Privacy Choices

Global Privacy Control signal Checking…

You can direct us not to sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Recording your choice here sets a preference on this browser and turns off advertising and analytics cookies for this device.

Your choice is stored in a cookie on this browser, so you may need to set it again on other browsers or devices, or if you clear cookies. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it automatically and you do not need to do anything here.

How to turn on Global Privacy Control

GPC is a setting you enable in your browser or through a browser extension. Once on, it tells every site you visit not to sell or share your data. To enable it, open your browser's privacy and security settings and look for a Global Privacy Control or “Do Not Sell or Share” option, or add a GPC extension from your browser's extension store. Some privacy-focused browsers, such as the DuckDuckGo browser, turn GPC on by default.

Retention

We retain the personal information you submit only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to maintain our client relationships, and to comply with our legal and recordkeeping obligations. Automatically collected usage data is retained in aggregate for analytics purposes.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown above. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
